Description

Ngwesaung is a beach resort located 48 km west of Pathein, Ayeyarwady Region, Myanmar. The beach is 5 hours drive, with no traffic, away from the principal city of Yangon, and an airport is in the works. Buses leave at 6am & 9:30pm from in front of the Yangon Central Railway Station. Opened in March 2000, Ngwe Saung is newer than nearby and more popular Chaungtha Beach, and is designed to attract people with larger holiday budgets.

An unspoilt 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) stretch of silvery sand and modern amenities have made Ngwesaung a popular destination for less budget conscious tourists from Lower Myanmar. Still Ngwesaung has much to develop. Its choices for nightlife activities remain paltry, even by local standards. Chaungtha and Ngapali beaches have greater choices of nighttime activities. At this point, a nearby elephant training camp is a main daytime attraction at Ngwesaung.

Price per person based on two person tour (twin hotel room sharing basis). Larger groups will pay less per person, single person purchase will mean a higher price.

If you wish come to Myanmar during Water Festival between 12 to 18 April, tour price will change and we will let you know the extra charges.

Additional charges during Festive Season: Christmas, New Year and the Water festival period may apply.

Supplements for compulsory Gala Dinners will be advised at the time of booking.

Itinerary

After the breakfast, pick up at your hotel to take overland transfer to Ngwe Saung Beach (Aprprox: 5-6 hours). Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Both lunch and dinner to your own account. Overnight stay at hotel in Ngwe Saung Beach.

After the breakfast. Enjoy your day at beautiful Ngwe Sung Beach.
You can visit to the nearby islands or villages by your own account. Both lunch and dinner to your own account. Overnight stay at hotel in Ngwe Saung Beach.

After the breakfast, drive back to Yangon. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel or Airport for your onward flight (PM).
