This tour to the Kayin and Mon State gives you a wonderful experience to visit the area south of Yangon. The pilgrimage site of ‘The Golden Rock’ invites many local and regional people to come and pray in front of the magic boulder balancing over a wide cliff.
Observe the pilgrims devout in prayer or applying gold leaf to the boulder and enjoy a spectacular view of the valley below. The visit up to the Golden Rock is particularly nice at sunset or sunrise.
Hpa An – the capital of the Kayin State offers wonderful country side sceneries: caves and stone formation like in Halong or southern Thailand. Hpa-An is a fairly new destination in Myanmar and has some of the best sites to visit: the scenery is beautiful with the location on the Salween River. Caves, pagodas, and unspoilt villages make this tour unforgettable
Mawlamyaing remains one of Myanmars regional cities which has not much changed over the centuries.
