Cancellation

The cancellation notice must be received in writing either by e-mail or fax. It will be effective on the date of receipt. Cancellation charges, per person, are based upon the date of cancellation:

  • Up to 91 days prior to departure: Deposit will be forfeited.
  • From 90-61: 30% of cruise fare
  • From 60-31: 50% of cruise fare
  • From 30 days to “no show” 100% of cruise fare

Tour Price

As there are various prices with the Cabin on Main Deck and Upper Deck in different period, please send us the email message via Enquiry Form in order to get the updated price.

Deposit

To secure the booking a 20% deposit is required within the option expiration date.

If payment is not received within the stated option deadline the cabins will be released.

In the only case a credit line or floating deposit has been agreed between our companies we require the reservation manager or whoever is responsible to sign on behalf of the company a letter of undertaking which guarantees all payments according to our booking policies.

Passengers Manifest

Final passengers list with Complete Names, Passport-Visa Number, DOB, Arrival Date in Myanmar and flight number should be sent not later than 7 days prior departure.

Payment Terms

Deposit: Refer to the Deposit Term

Full Payment or Final Balance MUST be received via Credit Card, Bank Transfer or US$ cash within 30 days prior to departure unless otherwise agreed; payment failure may be treated as a cancellation and the cancellation charges apply.

River Conditions Warning

The Irrawaddy and Chindwin rivers are subject to seasonal rises and falls of water level.

In the case of water levels being too high or low an alternative itinerary will be offered to Passenger.

Published itineraries are indication only and subject to sudden change. In such events alternative itineraries will be provided and we do our best to ensure that if a stop is missed we make up for it with another stop.

Though every effort will be made to ensure that the published itinerary is followed as closely as possible, given uncertain river and other local conditions, all schedules and itineraries may be subject to alterations and delays at short notice.

The ship’s manager and captain are jointly responsible for passengers’ comfort and safety.

Passengers must accept their decisions and instructions.

Itinerary

Day 1: Bagan – Cruising To Mandalay (River Village Stop) (-/L/D)

The embarkation time is 11.30 hrs at Bagan - Koe Lone Ye Kin Jetty and cast off after half an hour.

Transfer : Transfer from airport or hotel to Jetty can be arranged at supplement upon request. Pleases note that it takes approximately 30 minutes drive from Airport and Hotel to ship (Koe Lone Ye Kin).

Please note: They are not able to accept early arrival before 11:30 am.

Welcome Cocktail and briefing in the Saloon or Sundeck followed by Lunch.
In the late afternoon stop in a typical river village. Lunch & Dinner on board. Overnight on board, RV Paukan Cruise.

Day 2 : Cruising to Mandalay (Visit Yandabo Village) (B/L/D)

Breakfast on board. Cruise all day with stop enroute in the morning to visit Yandabo, a typical river village specializing in Pot-Making, where the peace treaty of the First Anglo-Burmese war was signed on Feb. 24, 1826. We visit the Pot workshops and the monastery.
Moor overnight nearby a village (Ywar Thit Gyi or Pauk Myaing Pauk Taw) few miles away from Ava Bridge. Lunch & Dinner on board. Overnight on board, RV Paukan Cruise.

Day 3 : Mandalay (Sagaing on Thursday / Gawein on Sunday) (B/-/-)

Enjoy the sunrise. After an early breakfast, the passengers will disembark at Sagaing Jetty (Thursday only) or Gawein Jetty (Sunday Only) at around 09.30hrs.

Transfer : Transfer to the Mandalay Int'l Airport or hotel in Mandalay can be arranged at supplement upon request. Pls take note that it takes around 1 hr drive for transfer from ship (Sagaing) to Mandalay Int'l Airport or hotel in Mandalay.

It takes approximately 1 hr drive for transfer from ship (Gawein) to Mandalay Int'l Airport and 30 minutes to hotel in Mandalay.
