Visitors to Bagan now have the unique opportunity to enjoy spectacular views of the ancient Kingdom of Bagan in a hot air balloon! The world-famous archaeological site of Bagan is known for its marvelous sunsets and sunrises, mostly enjoyed from the top of one of the monuments. A balloon flight gives you the chance to see Bagan with a bird’s-eye view. The day ends with fruit, fresh pastries and a glass of sparkling wine.

The Balloon Flights operate sunrise last just under one hour and take off daily from October through March.

The Balloon flight reserve the right to charge a 20% cancellation fee if the cancellation is made more than 21 days before the flight date and 100% cancellation fee if the cancellation is made less than 21 days before the flight date
In order to book the Balloon Over Bagan Flight, we need:
Balloon flights must receive a 100% payment in order to secure the reservation at 30 days before the flight date.
A 20% nonrefundable deposit of the total payment amount must be required on the date all spaces are fully occupied to secure the reservation and it will be applied to all pre-bookings which are booked more than 30 days before the flight date.
For your information, sometimes due to the gloomy weather condition, Balloons flights cancel at the very last minute. The flight will offer to take at later date but in case it also cannot operate, the Balloons Company will refund to the agent.
If such kind of case occurs, we will refund you back by cash in Yangon, but will charge USD 15 per file for communication and handling fee for your booking. The detail terms and conditions of the Balloons flights will be advised upon your firm booking.
Around 0500 hours the Balloon shuttle bus will pick you up at your hotel (your guide will tell you the exact pick up time). You will drive to the departure ground of the Balloons. While the team makes the Balloon ready to go, you enjoy some refreshments, but you can also take great pictures of this event. Then, depending on the wind, you will over fly Bagan for about one hour, and enjoy spectacular views of the ancient Kingdom of Bagan in your hot air balloon! The tour ends….. where ever the wind has brought you. A glass of sparkling wine ends this fantastic event…. and the shuttle bus then brings you back to your hotel.
